The Sint Theresia Building, once home to nurse-nuns within the historic Annapark estate for individuals with mental disorders, has undergone an impressive transformation. DMD Amsterdam was responsible for the interior design, where the original heritage has been integrated with respect and precision into its new purpose. The focus was on revealing and accentuating the authentic architectural details, which now seamlessly blend with modern demands for hospitality and comfortable long-stay apartments. The result is a unique symbiosis of past and present, where the rich history of the building remains palpable in a contemporary and welcoming environment.
