Estate Groot Bijstervelt Chapel & Restaurant

Oirschot, The Netherlands

On Groot Bijstervelt Estate the 19th century neo-Gothic Chapel and its interconnected Rectory have been transformed to a restaurant and congress center. The Chapel, again, is the focal point of the newly landscaped Estate.  A new and daring color scheme naturally accentuates the original, monumental elements. The brilliant choice of lighting makes the leaded glass sparkle. Following an optical path though the Chapel, you will arrive in the brasserie, the newest gem on the Groot Bijstervelt Estate.  The old rectory has found an exciting new purpose as an informal and cozy restaurant for the residents of the estate and guests from outside. The innovative and bold ceiling reflects the surrounding forested landscape and its meandering paths. The circular glazed facade forges the inside with the outside and connects the guests with nature.  Here you can relax after a long walk or enjoy dinner with friends.
